New line successfully launched in North America

ALEMO foam sheet extrusion line, model EXT130-3200 for production of EPE foam up to 3200mm /126” width. 

BENEFITS FOR THE CUSTOMER:

1. SAVING LOTS OF MONEY

• 25% less raw material for equal material strength
• Lowest energy consumption from 0,19 up to 0,3 kWh/kg of extruded material
• Less production of scrap

2. PROCESS STABILITY

• Great stability of extruder, once you set the process, it runs automatically without touching 
• Less time required for pre-heating and start-up
• Higher stability due to process control and twin screw design
• Uniformity of foam thickness on whole width <5%

3. INCREASED EFFICIENCY

• Higher productivity due to: slitting foam width (example 77” + 42”);  fast control of foam width with expandable mandrel; production speed up to 170m/min (560 ft/min)   
• Production of flat foam also at low density
