ALEMO EXT120 PE and PP Foam Sheet Extrusion Line

The ALEMO EXT120 foam sheet extrusion line is designed to extrude polyethylene and polypropylene foam sheet with direct gas injection. The screw design and geometry provide exceptional melt strength.

The ALEMO EXT120 twin-screw extruder for polyethylene and polypropylene foam sheet delivers exceptional melting, mixing, and cooling with minimal material shear. The extrusion head and die design ensure final product consistency in terms of thickness and density across the entire foam sheet width.

The feed screw of the foam extruder is designed to bring the material to the desired temperature with optimal gradual cooling. This is considered essential in foam extrusion for maximum density reduction, up to 25%.

ALEMO designs and develops extruders based on the production process, not the other way around, achieving high foam thickness uniformity across the entire width. ALEMO foam sheet extruders achieve higher productivity, better product quality, and lower energy consumption below 0.3 kWh per kg of extruded material, 40% less than Tandem systems.
